This policy explains how Red Pill Blue Pill Studios (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles privacy on this website, redpillbluepillstudios.com. Our individual apps each have their own privacy policy covering that app; this policy covers the website itself.

The short version

This is a static website with no user accounts or advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. Google Analytics collects pseudonymous usage and technical information and uses cookies as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal information through this website. There are no forms or sign-ups. If you email us using a link on the site, we receive whatever you choose to include in that email (such as your email address and message) solely so we can reply.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and improve the site. Its standard implementation collects information such as pages viewed, session statistics, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google processes this information to provide analytics reports to us. We do not send names, email addresses, or other information that directly identifies you to Google Analytics.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub’s servers may automatically record standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) in security and operational logs when pages are requested. That processing is handled by GitHub under its own privacy practices; we do not control it and do not receive that data. See GitHub’s privacy statement for details.

Fonts and other third parties

Fonts used on this site are self-hosted — your browser loads them from this site, not from a third-party font service. Apart from Google Analytics, we do not embed third-party advertising or social tracking scripts.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and a property-specific _ga_... cookie, to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Our apps

Each app we publish has its own privacy policy describing how that app handles data. For example, see the Sagitta Chains privacy policy. Those policies apply to the apps themselves and are separate from this website policy.

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will appear on this page before taking effect.
