Privacy Policy for Sagitta Chains

The short version

Sagitta Chains does not collect your personal data. The game operates without user accounts, advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking mechanisms. Locally stored game data (scores, stats, settings, purchases, and device identifiers) remains on your device exclusively. One optional exception exists: enabling iCloud sync transmits your best scores through your personal Apple iCloud account, which the developers cannot access.

What the app stores (on your device only)

Sagitta Chains stores the following locally using standard device storage:

  • Your best scores and highest level reached
  • Lifetime play statistics (levels cleared, longest chain)
  • Your settings (sound, haptics, theme, and similar preferences)
  • Which supporter purchase you own, if any, for badge and theme unlocking
  • A randomly generated device-only identifier for organizing local records

This information never leaves your device, and the developers cannot view it. Deleting the app removes this data, or you can clear it via the in-app Settings’ Reset Progress option.

iCloud sync (optional)

Enabling iCloud sync shares your best scores (high score, highest level, longest chain, most chains per level) across Apple devices through your personal iCloud account via Apple’s CloudKit. This data lives in your personal iCloud space; we cannot read it, and it is never sent to a server of ours. iCloud sync remains optional and controllable through in-app Settings. Apple’s privacy policy governs iCloud usage.

In-app purchases

All purchases are processed by Apple. The developers never receive payment card or billing information. The app only records which tier you own, stored on your device and linked to your Apple ID for purchase restoration. No personal or financial data is collected through purchases.

What we do not collect

  • No name, email, phone number, or contact information
  • No precise or approximate location
  • No advertising identifiers; no advertising
  • No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
  • No payment or financial information
  • No social, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access

Crash and performance diagnostics

The app includes no third-party crash-reporting tools. Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and performance diagnostics through App Store tools (Apple’s “Share With App Developers” setting), controlled by your device settings and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. These reports do not identify you.

Children’s privacy

Sagitta Chains does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app does not knowingly gather information from children under 13 or equivalent regional ages.

Your choices

  • Reset Progress (Settings) erases all locally stored game data
  • iCloud Sync (Settings) can be toggled on or off; synced scores can be deleted anytime
  • Deleting the app removes all locally stored game data
  • Sound and haptics can be turned off in Settings
