Privacy Policy for TipTable Pro
Last updated July 17, 2026 by Red Pill, Blue Pill Studios, LLC
The short version
TipTable Pro does not collect your personal data. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. Your calculations happen entirely on your device, and the app does not send your bill amounts, calculations, or settings to us or to anyone else. The only thing it stores is your app settings. They stay on your device. If you have unlocked all features and keep iCloud Sync turned on, Apple also syncs those settings between your own devices through your personal iCloud account. We never see them either way.
What the app stores
TipTable Pro saves your preferences locally using standard device storage:
- Your format settings (language, currency, and decimal point)
- Your tip and split presets, and which preset is the default
- Your selected theme and haptics preference
This information contains nothing personal, no bill amounts, and no calculation history. The app never transmits it to us, and the developers cannot view it. Deleting the app removes it, or you can use Reset Settings in the app to return everything to defaults.
iCloud Sync (optional, for unlocked users)
If you have purchased “Unlock All Features,” the app can keep the settings listed above in sync across your devices using Apple’s iCloud key-value storage:
- The synced data is only your app settings, never bill amounts, calculations, or anything personal
- It is stored in your own iCloud account and transferred by Apple, protected by Apple’s iCloud security and Apple’s privacy policy
- We have no access to it. It never touches a server of ours (we don’t operate any servers)
- iCloud Sync is on by default for unlocked users and can be turned off anytime in Settings
- Delete my iCloud Data (in the app’s Settings) removes your settings from iCloud and stops syncing; the settings on your device are kept
What we do not collect
- No name, email, phone number, or contact information
- No bill amounts, tips, or calculation history (nothing you type is saved or sent)
- No precise or approximate location
- No advertising identifiers; no advertising
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
- No payment or financial information
- No social, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access
No accounts, and no data sent to us
TipTable Pro is free to download. It does not create accounts, and it does not send your information to us (we operate no servers). Your calculations run entirely on your device. The only network activity the app can perform is the optional iCloud settings sync described above, which moves your settings between your own devices through your own iCloud account, handled entirely by Apple.
If you make an in-app purchase, it is processed by Apple through the App Store. That transaction is handled by Apple, not by us. We never receive or store your payment or financial information, and the app records only whether a feature has been unlocked, kept on your device.
Crash and performance diagnostics
The app includes no third-party crash-reporting tools. Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and performance diagnostics through App Store tools (Apple’s “Share With App Developers” setting), controlled by your device settings and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. These reports do not identify you.
Children’s privacy
TipTable Pro does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app does not knowingly gather information from children under 13 or equivalent regional ages.
Your choices
- Reset Settings (in the app) returns all preferences to their defaults
- iCloud Sync (in the app, for unlocked users) can be turned off anytime
- Delete my iCloud Data (in the app, for unlocked users) removes your settings from iCloud and stops syncing
- Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings (settings previously synced to your iCloud account remain there unless you use Delete my iCloud Data first)
